All About Animals Pet Clinic is seeking a Veterinary Assistant for a full-time role with a four-day workweek in Mahomet, IL. Starting pay is $16/hour, based on experience. SCHEDULE

Four-day workweek. Weekday availability from 7:30 AM–6:00 PM.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Support veterinarians and technicians during examinations, surgeries, and medical procedures.
• Provide attentive patient handling, restraint, and care for pets.
• Support blood collection, IV catheter placement, digital radiography, and dental care as assigned, within your training and permitted responsibilities.
• Help prepare patients, equipment, and treatment areas so the medical team can work efficiently.
• Communicate clearly with clients and reinforce care instructions from the medical team.
• Maintain accurate information and help keep clinical spaces clean, organized, and ready for the next patient.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of experience in a veterinary hospital or clinic
• Experience with venipuncture, IV catheter placement, digital radiography, dental prophylaxis, restraint, and hospitalized patient care
• Experience with ezyVet cloud-based software and IDEXX laboratory equipment
• Strong communication, teamwork, and accountability
