The Veterinary Assistant provides excellent medical care to Vetco Total Care hospital patients and exceptional customer service to their owners. They embody our mission and values, setting the tone for technical and customer support, and fostering team cohesion and motivation.
Work is supervised by veterinarians and veterinary technicians, with overall direction from the HOM/HLOD or shift supervisor.
Primarily in the hospital, involving bending, kneeling, lifting up to 30 pounds, and standing for long periods. Direct contact with clients and pets is frequent.
Regular communication with clients, specialists, and vendors.
