Greenville Veterinary Clinic is hiring a Veterinary Assistant to join our dedicated team. This part-time role emphasizes compassionate patient care and supports veterinarians across examinations, treatments, and daily clinical procedures.

We don’t work nights or holidays, and our rotating Saturday shifts ensure every other weekend off, with a schedule from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. You’ll grow your veterinary career in a supportive, teamwork-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians and the clinical team in providing compassionate patient care
• Assist with examinations, treatments, and day-to-day clinical procedures
• Safely and compassionately handle and restrain patients
• Prepare patients, exam rooms, and treatment areas for appointments and procedures
• Assist with patient care before, during, and after treatments
• Support the team with diagnostic and clinical procedures as directed
• Monitor patients and communicate changes or concerns to the veterinary team
• Maintain accurate and organized patient information
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients and fellow team members
• Help maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked clinical areas
• Follow hospital protocols and established standards of patient care
• Collaborate with the entire veterinary team to maintain an efficient workflow
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities

Status: Part-time
Compensation: A flexible approach to compensation that reflects your skill set and future performance
Schedule: Mon - Fri and every other Saturday. Work hours are from 7:30-5:30. This position will consist of working a few days through the week and every other weekend
