Hiring Veterinary Assistants with Experience!

We are looking for hard‑working, self‑motivated individuals to join our Veterinary Assistant team. Full‑time positions include nights and weekends. We offer a starting hourly rate of $16–$21 and a benefits package after 90 days.

Responsibility

• Act as an Exam Room Technician, Treatment Room Technician, or Surgery Technician.
• Obtain client history and assist in exam rooms.
• Provide client education, administer injections, obtain digital radiographs, and perform treatments as directed by the doctors.
• Prepare samples for outside laboratories and perform in‑house bloodwork.
• Prepare patients for surgery and assist in monitoring anesthesia.

Required Qualifications

• One to three years of veterinary assistant experience (preferred).
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Team player who can work independently and alongside doctors.
• Proficient with electronic medical records; computer skills are mandatory (experience with EzyVet preferred).
• Physical ability to lift 40 lb alone and assist with lifting animals over 40 lb.
• Ability to work long hours, stand or walk for extended periods, and work in bent or squatting positions.
