National Veterinary Associates in Gardnerville, NV is looking for dedicated Veterinary Assistants to join their team. The ideal candidates will have 1–3 years of experience in veterinary assistance, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with veterinarians.
This role involves obtaining medical histories from clients, assisting in exam rooms, and performing various treatments as directed. NVA offers a starting hourly wage between $16 and $21, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and paid time off.

Hours include nights and weekends. Must be reliable and responsible. Offering a great starting hourly salary and benefits package after 90 days (must be full time).
We are currently in need of an Assistant with experience (1–3 years preferred). Our Veterinary Assistants work both independently and side by side with our doctors. Veterinary Assistant must have excellent communication and customer service skills and be a team player! We utilize electronic medical records, so computer skills are a must. Experience with Ezyvet preferred but not required.
Physical demands: lift and carry animals up to 40 lbs. (Lift 40 lbs. alone; lifting animals over 40 lbs. assisted by other staff). Walk or stand for extended periods. Work in bent or squatting positions. Able to work long hours. Experienced in teamwork.
