is looking for a dependable, motivated, compassionate, and experienced Veterinary Assistant for our multi-doctor practice in Garden Grove, CA. We are a busy hospital with a wide variety of caseloads.
The veterinary assistant must enjoy interacting with people and animals, and communicate effectively and professionally with doctors, technical staff, and clients.
Four shifts per week including three 10-hour weekday shifts and one 7-hour weekend shift.
The ideal candidate can multitask in a fast-paced environment, provide exceptional customer service, and demonstrate genuine compassion. Good record-keeping skills are essential. The position requires bending, kneeling, lifting up to 30 pounds, and standing for long periods.
Advanced technical skills are not required but are advantageous. Compensation depends on experience. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.
Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 6 pm, Saturday 7:30 am – 12 pm, Sunday 10:30 am – 3 pm. The schedule will consist of three shifts per week.

Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience, ranging from $18-20/hour. The actual rate will consider various factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
