Job description

Fairway Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant. We are a high volume, small animal hospital with seven full-time veterinarians. The applicant must be available to work 30-40 hours per week with a varying work schedule, including two to three Saturdays a month.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

1. Assisting Registered Veterinary Technicians and Veterinarians with all aspects of animal care
2. Restraint
3. Cleaning and stocking throughout the hospital
4. Filling Prescriptions
5. Walking/feeding hospitalized patients

The ideal candidate must love animals! They should be self-motivated, team-focused, detail-oriented, dependable, and not afraid of hard work. We seek an individual who takes pride in their work and strives to excel. A professional appearance and strong communication skills are essential.
