Union Hill Animal Hospital is hiring! Our locally owned, independent hospital has continued to rapidly grow in the heart of midtown Kansas City! We are seeking to add a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician or an experienced assistant to join our team! We currently have 4 full-time DVMs and an expanding team of talented RVTs and veterinary assistants.

We offer state-of-the-art equipment and procedures, including digital radiology, digital dental radiology, tonopen, a full in-house suite of IDEXX lab equipment, a full surgical suite, therapy and surgical laser, ultrasound, and acupuncture. We plan to add endoscopy soon!

• Experienced: Because of our continued growth and development, we are looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant. This does not rule out someone without experience, but only highly motivated candidates will be considered.
• Compassionate: We provide warm and caring service for all clients and patients (all doctors and staff are Fear Free certified). Genuine compassion is an essential core attribute.
• Emotionally Mature: This is key to a positive clinic culture and translates to how we treat each other. Like any worthwhile endeavor, having a positive, safe, fun, and respectful clinic environment takes maturity, effort, willingness (to be patient and kind), and grace for each other’s imperfections. • Aspirations: Union Hill is a practice with high aspirations for future growth in size and diversity of services. We are looking for someone with those same aspirations, who wants to continue to grow, learn, and expand their skill set.
• Self-Managed: The ability to work independently and efficiently is essential.
• Schedule: We have no overnight or weekend emergencies. You are scheduled 4 weekdays and every third Saturday morning.
• License: If you are an RVT, you must have a MO license in good standing or be eligible to obtain a MO license.
• Pay/Benefits: Our pay rate is commensurate with experience and education. We distribute quarterly bonuses based on the performance of the practice. Our benefits package is negotiable and includes health insurance (including vision and dental options), short and long-term disability, life insurance, Simple IRA retirement plan, CE and license coverage, association dues, paid holidays, paid time off, scrub allowance (5 sets and a jacket with yearly renewal), and discounted pet care after 30 days.
