Job summary

VCA Bloomington Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to support patient care and client experience in a busy veterinary setting. This full-time role features a 4x10 schedule with rotating Saturdays and offers hands-on experience.

You will assist veterinarians and technicians, restrain animals safely, maintain records, collect lab samples, and educate clients on care and post-operative instructions. Excellent team environment and benefits provided.

• 1+ years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant.
• Confident in restraint, medical records, and running diagnostic labs.

Schedule: Full-time opportunity, 4 x 10s, with rotating Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities: As a Veterinary Assistant, you’ll play an important role in supporting both patient care and the client experience. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with animals, being part of a team, and gaining hands‑on experience in a veterinary setting.

Compensation: The starting range for Veterinary Assistants is $18.79 - 25.79/hr and is determined by skill set, and years of experience in the field.
