The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $21–$26, negotiable based on experience, education, skills, and credentials, with full-time benefits and opportunities for continuing education.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting in veterinary surgical procedures and anesthesia monitoring.
• Experience performing dental cleanings and radiographs.
• Ability to educate clients on treatment plans and home care.
• Strong record-keeping and patient documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures, including anesthesia monitoring and post‑op recovery.
• Perform dental cleanings, charting, and radiographs.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed by the DVM.
• Collect samples and perform in‑house laboratory diagnostics.
• Prepare patients and exam rooms for appointments.
• Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and home care.
• Maintain accurate patient medical records.

VCA Cedar View Animal Hospital is looking to add a Veterinary Technician to our team!

Schedule: Full-time opportunity, with rotating Saturday shifts.

Compensation: $ 21 - 26/ hr and pay range is negotiable based on experience, education, skills, and credentials.
