Academy Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our energetic and supportive team on a part-time basis. The role focuses on assisting veterinarians and technicians with patient care, daily hospital operations, and compassionate handling of animals.

Formación

• Previous Veterinary Assistant experience preferred, not required.
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Support veterinarians and technicians with patient care and daily hospital operations.
• Assist with patient restraint, treatments, and procedures.
• Safely and compassionately handle patients of varying sizes and temperaments.
• Assist with wellness appointments and patient care throughout the day.
• Help prepare exam rooms and treatment areas for patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and team members.

What Our Veterinary Assistants Do

• Support veterinarians and technicians with patient care and daily hospital operations
• Assist with patient restraint, treatments, and procedures

• Assist with sample collection and basic diagnostic procedures based on experience
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation

• Keep exam rooms, treatment areas, and hospital spaces clean, organized, and well stocked
• Deliver compassionate care to patients and exceptional service to clients
• Jump in wherever needed to help maintain an efficient daily workflow
