Job description

VCA Dunwoody Veterinary Center is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team.

We are a 3 doctor practice in the heart of Dunwoody. We are willing to train the right person for the position. 1 year of veterinary experience is preferred.

Location: 1660 Mt Vernon Rd, Dunwoody, GA 30338

In this position, you will be supporting our Doctors and Technician team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. Duties will include:

1. Maintaining medical records.
2. Preparing surgical suite and surgical patients.
3. Filling prescriptions.
4. Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.
5. Providing compassionate care and a home away from home for hospitalized pets.
