Haw Creek Animal Hospital in Asheville, NC is hiring a full-time Veterinary Assistant/Technician to join our team of experienced veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to ensure each animal receives the best possible care during their stay with us. Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour, determined by skills and experience.

Schedule: Full-time with some evenings until 9PM and rotating Saturdays. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, retirement, PTO, pet discount, 401(k) match, and referral

Competenze

• Previous experience working with animals in a veterinary setting is required.
• Technical know-how in disinfection, administering medication, and using diagnostic equipment.

Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour, determined by the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.

Schedule: Full-time, must have a flexible schedule. Some evenings until 9PM and rotating Saturdays

Monday- Thursday 8AM-9PM, Friday and Saturday 8AM-5PM

About Haw Creek Animal Hospital

We see everything from wellness visits to "routine" medicine and dentistry, to urgent care and emergencies during our regular business hours.

Many, if not most, surgical cases can be treated on an outpatient basis. We do have the capacity to hospitalize sick or injured animals, although cases requiring overnight care will probably be referred to a local 24-hour emergency hospital. Very limited boarding is also available, primarily for pets with special medical needs.

The hospital has a welcoming and comfortable reception area and waiting room, 3 exam rooms, a well-equipped surgical suite, and in-house laboratory and radiology.
