Job summary

Sploot Veterinary Care in Colorado offers urgent care and general practice with no overnights and flexible 10-12 hour shifts. As a veterinary assistant, you’ll provide client support, help with procedures, keep the clinic organized, and contribute to a positive team culture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of veterinary assistant experience; emergency or urgent care is a plus but not required.
• Team-first mindset; collaborative, communicative, and ready to jump in where needed.
• Passionate about delivering best-in-class care to pets and their people.
• Organized and detail-oriented, keeping the clinic running smoothly.
• Bonus: experience or interest in dentistry or anesthesia.

Responsibilities

• Client Support: Create a calm, reassuring experience so pet parents feel confident in their pets' care.
• Procedural Support: Assist doctors and technicians with treatments and procedures, including safe and gentle patient restraint.
• Clinic Upkeep: Maintain a clean, organized clinic environment for pets, clients, and the whole team.
