Sploot Veterinary Care is seeking an RVT to join a high-performing team in Colorado. You will work with surgeons, clinicians, and support staff to deliver exceptional patient care across urgent care and wellness cases.

The role offers flexible 10–12 hour shifts, a low nurse-to-DVM ratio, and access to advanced tools including AI scribe software. A collaborative culture supports mentorship and career growth, with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Current RVT license in Colorado.
• 1+ year of vet tech experience; emergency or urgent care is a plus.
• Team-first mindset with strong communication.

• Bonus: dentistry or anesthesia experience.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians with surgery prep, anesthesia monitoring, treatments, and diagnostics.
• Perform blood draws, lab work, IV catheter placement, radiographs, medications and vaccines, and wound care assistance.
• Educate clients and provide at-home care instructions.
• Maintain accurate digital records (with AI scribe support), restock supplies and keep equipment clean.
• Contribute to a positive, solutions-focused team environment and mentor veterinary assistants.

What You'll Do

• Clinical Partnership: Support veterinarians with surgery prep, anesthesia monitoring, treatments, and diagnostics
• Technical & Lab Skills: Perform blood draws, lab work, IV catheter placement, radiographs, medication and vaccine administration, and wound care assistance
• Client Education & Support: Guide and reassure pet parents by clearly communicating care plans and at-home instructions
• Clinic Operations: Maintain accurate digital records (with AI scribe support), restock supplies, and keep equipment clean and sterilized
• Culture & Mentorship: Contribute to a positive, solutions-focused team environment and support the growth of veterinary assistants
