The purpose of this position involves providing excellent medical care to Vetco Total Care hospital patients and phenomenal customer care to their owners. The Veterinary Assistant represents our mission and values to all clients. They set the tone for technical and customer support in the hospital and are responsible for fostering cohesion and motivation within the team.

Work is supervised by veterinarians and the HOM/HLOD. The role plays a crucial part in ensuring efficient hospital operations and high-quality patient care.
This position contributes to practice growth, high standards of care, team cohesion, and employee retention, ultimately enhancing patient well-being and customer satisfaction.
Primarily in the hospital, involving physical activity such as bending, kneeling, lifting up to 30 pounds, and standing for long periods. Frequent contact with clients and pets.
Regular communication with clients, veterinary specialists, and suppliers.
