Job summary

University of California, Davis Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital seeks an Anesthesia Technician to provide anesthesia care, monitoring, and recovery for a variety of patients. The role supports the Anesthesia service and communicates peri-anesthesia concerns to the supervising veterinarian.

Responsibilities include ensuring equipment maintenance, stock supplies, and assisting with scheduling, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a 24-hour clinical teaching environment.

Qualifications

• Valid California RVT license required.
• Experience to independently treat patients with changing conditions.
• Experience in veterinary hospital physical exams and handling multiple species.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care, monitoring, and recovery.
• Maintain anesthesia equipment and manage stock and supplies.
• Assist with scheduling and support other services as needed.
