Red Bank Veterinary Hospital (RBVH) is seeking a Veterinary Technician Specialist in Anesthesia to join our Surgery & Anesthesia team in Red Bank, NJ. The VTS-A will lead anesthesia protocols for routine, specialized, and emergency procedures, collaborating with surgeons and technicians to ensure top-level patient care.

The role requires a VTS in Anesthesia, 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced specialty hospital, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Must hold Veterinary Technician Specialist in Anesthesia (VTS-A) credential.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Five+ years of experience as a credentialed veterinary nursing team member.
• Fluent English (speaking and reading) required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor individualized anesthesia protocols.
• Prepare patients for anesthesia and surgery including catheter placement and induction.
• Monitor anesthesia continuously and respond to changes in patient status.
• Perform advanced anesthesia techniques (epidurals, regional blocks) as directed.
• Maintain accurate anesthesia records and post-operative care.
