Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in Red Bank, NJ, seeks a Veterinary Technician for Procedures and Imaging to advance anesthesia and surgical skills in a state‑of‑the‑art specialty environment with MRI, CT, and PET capabilities.

Role spans MRI monitoring, OR anesthesia, and occasional CT procedures, working with board-certified specialists to ensure patient safety and high‑quality care. Competitive compensation and full benefits offered.

Qualifications

• LVT, CVT or RVT credential preferred.
• Three or more years of experience as a veterinary nursing team member.
• One or more years of anesthesia experience required.
• Fluent English skills (speaking and reading) required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor anesthesia for surgical and diagnostic procedures.
• Provide comprehensive patient care before, during, and after anesthesia and recovery.
• Perform phlebotomy, sample collection, and peripheral IV catheter placement.
• Administer IV fluids and monitor patient response.
• Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment, monitoring devices, and MRI suites.
• Monitor ECG, pulse oximetry, blood pressure, capnography, and other critical parameters.
• Maintain anesthesia records and monitoring data.
• Assist with neurologic diagnostic procedures and advanced surgical cases.
• Calculate drug dosages and prepare CRIs.
• Recognize and respond to anesthetic emergencies.
• Communicate with doctors, technicians, and clients regarding patient care.
• Maintain clean, organized treatment, surgery, and MRI areas.
