Job summary

Stryker Corporation is seeking a skilled veterinarian for their unique Cat Tales center in Davis, CA. This role offers a chance to provide exceptional care in a Fear Free, Cat Friendly environment dedicated to feline health.

With flexible hours over 2-3 days a week, you will connect with caring individuals and help cats find happiness. Ideal candidates hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and an active California Veterinary License, with 1+ years of clinical experience preferred.

Salary ranges from $75,000 to $125,000 based on experience. We are committed to building a supportive team culture and helping all cats flourish.

Qualifications

• Active California Veterinary License in good standing.
• Willingness to become Cat Friendly and Fear Free Certified.
• Ability to perform OVHs, neuters, mass removals, and other common procedures.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from an AVMA accredited university

Active California Veterinary License in good standing

Cat Tales is the only Fear Free, Cat Friendly feline health center in Davis, CA. Opened in Dec 2024, Cat Tales is independently owned by two seasoned veterinarians — Julie Cole Shacoski and Chris “Shac” Shacoski. The practice is unique in how it provides more than just clinical care for cats: Cat Tales’ goal is to help ALL cats flourish. We have leisurely appointments to allow time to build a relationship with each cat and the people they own. This allows us time for listening, for full examinations, and for discussion of personalized care plans that address health care needs and the lifestyle options to enable each unique cat to be healthy, calm, comfortable and at peace. Cat Tales has a cat lounge (Tabby Tea Cat Lounge) where all are welcome to visit with feline adoptees and enjoy a purrfect break. We work with our local shelter to support and encourage feline fans to find their next family member. We have helped >90 cats find new homes in the past year! We also offer grooming and medical boarding for existing clients.
