Cat Tales is the only Fear Free, Cat Friendly feline health center in Davis, CA. We plan to treat our feline patients with the respect they deserve. Our leisurely appointments allow time for listening, full examinations, and discussion of personalized care plans that enable every unique cat to be healthy, calm, comfortable, and at peace.

About the Role
  • Perform ovary‑ovum‑hysterectomy (OVH) procedures, neuters, mass removals, and other common veterinary surgeries.
  • Provide compassionate clinical care and education to cat owners.
  • Participate in the Cat Lounge to support local rescues and encourage adoptions.
  • Maintain records and foster collaborative communication with the practice team.
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an AVMA‑accredited university.
  • Active California Veterinary license in good standing.
  • Willingness to obtain and maintain Cat Friendly, Fear Free certification.
  • Preferred: 1+ year clinical experience (new graduates considered).
  • Ability to perform OVHs, neuters, mass removals, and other routine procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong listening mindset.
  • Continuously curious with a passion for learning and collaboration.
