Job summary

Atlas Consultancy Group is seeking a Founding Partner to lead a brand-new, full-service small animal general practice hospital opening in Washington. You will establish medical standards and culture, recruiting and mentoring your clinical team while working with an experienced Hospital Manager to grow a thriving practice.

You will drive clinical autonomy, mentor associates, and participate in a partnership incentive programme with substantial milestone bonuses as revenue grows.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility to practise in Washington.

Help shape a brand-new hospital from day one with the opportunity to lead the clinical direction, build your own team, and share directly in the success you create.

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced veterinarian who enjoys building something from the ground up. As the Founding Partner, you will have the autonomy to establish the hospital's medical standards, shape its culture, recruit your clinical team, and work alongside an experienced Hospital Manager to grow a thriving practice.

The hospital will provide comprehensive general practice services, including surgery, dentistry, preventative care, diagnostics, and urgent care appointments during business hours.

While overnight emergency services are not part of the current model, there is flexibility to expand into this area if it aligns with the Founding Partner's long-term vision for the hospital.

This role is designed for a veterinarian who enjoys leadership just as much as clinical work. Alongside mentoring associates and support staff, you'll play a key role in the financial success of the hospital through a unique partnership incentive programme.

Founding Partners receive substantial milestone bonuses as the hospital grows, with the first $500,000 in trailing 12-month revenue triggering a $70,000 bonus. Historically, many new hospitals achieve this within their first year, with additional milestone bonuses available as revenue continues to grow.

About you

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility to practise in Washington
• Minimum of four years' experience in small animal general practice
• Confident in general medicine, surgery, and dentistry

• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in helping grow a successful practice
• Previous leadership or management experience is advantageous but not essential
• Base salary from $150,000 to $180,000
• Monthly production bonus with no negative accrual
