Job description

Help build on more than 100 years of trusted veterinary care while working alongside an experienced team that values collaboration, autonomy, and high-quality medicine.

A well-established full-service small animal hospital in Stanwood, Washington is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its experienced clinical team.

For more than a century, this hospital has been caring for pets across the local community and has built a strong reputation for compassionate, comprehensive veterinary care. The practice provides a broad range of services including preventative medicine, surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, diagnostics, and senior pet care, allowing veterinarians to manage a varied caseload while building long‑term relationships with clients and their pets.

You’ll be joining an experienced team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff who work closely together to deliver consistently high standards of care. Doctors have the autonomy to manage their own cases while benefiting from a collaborative environment where colleagues are always available to discuss treatment plans and provide support. The hospital leadership is approachable and invested in creating a positive workplace where veterinarians are encouraged to continue developing their clinical interests.

The hospital is equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, a full in‑house laboratory, and an in‑house pharmacy, giving the team the tools to diagnose and treat a wide variety of medical and surgical cases. With an established client base, modern equipment, and strong support staff, veterinarians are able to focus on practicing quality medicine while maintaining an excellent standard of patient care.

The schedule consists of four 10‑hour shifts from Wednesday through Saturday, providing a consistent three‑day break each week and a healthy balance between clinical practice and life outside of work.
