NewDay Veterinary Care in Lake Nona, Orlando, is seeking an experienced Veterinarian to lead and grow a solo practice while delivering compassionate, evidence-based care for pets. You will collaborate with a supportive team and engage with clients to promote preventive health and wellness.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
• Current active DEA License.
• Veterinary State License.
• At least three years of experience as a DVM; able to run and grow a solo practice.
• USDA Accreditation preferable.

Responsibilities

• Practice in accordance with evidence-based medicine and professional standards of care.
• Assist in creation and implementation of continued enhancement of veterinary best practice guidelines.
• Foster preventive healthcare through education, client partnerships, and wellness plans.
• Educate the paraprofessional team and clients while advocating for pet health and strengthening the human-pet bond.
• Foster an inclusive and collaborative veterinary and resort support team by communicating medical standards, ethics and knowledge.
