NewDay Veterinary Care in Fleming Island, near Jacksonville, FL, seeks an experienced Veterinarian to lead a solo practice with a strong focus on evidence-based medicine and client partnerships.

You will foster preventive healthcare, educate clients and staff, and uphold our Core Values of Passion, Innovation, and Community in a supportive, work-life balanced environment.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from an accredited university.
• Current DEA License and Veterinary State License.
• At least three years of experience as a DVM; ability to run and grow a solo practice.
• USDA Accreditation preferable.

Responsibilities

• Practice in accordance with evidence-based medicine and the professional standards of care.
• Assist in creation and implementation of continued enhancement of veterinary best practice guidelines.
• Foster a culture of preventive healthcare through education, client partnerships, and wellness plans.
• Educate the paraprofessional team and clients while being an advocate for pet health and strengthening the human-pet bond.
• Foster an inclusive and collaborative veterinary and resort support team by communicating medical standards, ethical practices, and veterinary knowledge and experience.

• Doctor of Veterinary (DVM/VMD) degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university
• Current DEA License
