Pay: $15.00–$16.00/hour, based on experience

We are a busy, AAHA-accredited small animal hospital with 3 veterinarians seeking a full-time Veterinary Assistant who loves both people and pets.

- Veterinary Assistant with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Minimum 1 year of veterinary experience preferred
- Comfortable answering phones and interacting with clients
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and confident in a fast-paced setting
- Able to work independently while thriving as part of a team
- Anesthesia and surgery monitoring experience is a plus
- Prior experience in a high-volume practice preferred
- Familiarity with Impromed is a plus
- Assist with patient care and support veterinarians during exams
- Monitor anesthesia and surgical patients
- Answer phones and assist clients with professionalism and compassion
- Check patients in and out
- Communicate treatment plans and care instructions clearly to clients
- Support overall hospital workflow and daily team needs
