Job summary

College of DuPage is seeking a Receptionist - Veterans Services student worker to greet visitors, answer phones, and enter data into the system. You will provide information about Veterans Services, assist faculty and staff, and perform light clerical tasks in a busy campus office.

The role requires enrollment in 3/4 time, a minimum 2.0 GPA, and compliance with Federal Work Study requirements. Data confidentiality and professional customer service are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours Fall/Spring or 1 credit hour Summer.
• GPA 2.0 or above; first semester GPA waived.
• Federal Work Study eligibility may lead to Federal Work Study employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; enrollment requirement as above.

Responsibilities

• Greet students and staff, answer phones, enter data into Colleague, review secure data.
• Provide information regarding Veterans Services programs, procedures, and processes.
• Light cleaning and keeping facilities neat and orderly.
• General office duties including filing, creating/updating documents, making copies.
