Job summary

Veterans Multi-Service Center in Philadelphia is seeking a Program Manager to oversee the operation of services for veterans. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, and ensure safe, high‑quality, person‑centered care for participants.

The role requires a master’s degree in social work or Gerontology (or equivalent experience), supervisory experience, and a background in adult day services or related fields. Evening/weekend availability may be needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, Gerontology, or related field preferred.
• Bachelor's degree with equivalent experience will be considered.
• Minimum of three years of experience working with older adults or individuals with disabilities in a human services setting.
• Prior supervisory experience required.
• Experience with adult day programs or similar programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the assigned program, ensuring regulatory and policy compliance.
• Develop and implement program goals aligned with mission and plan.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and adjust as needed.
• Stay informed about best practices in adult day services.
• Develop partnerships to expand services.
• Supervise and mentor program staff including Assistant Program Managers and Case Managers.
• Provide guidance and professional development opportunities to staff.
• Maintain participant-centered care plans and monitor progress.
• Manage the program budget and ensure financial documentation.
