Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in Rolla, MO seeks a dedicated physician (primary care) to diagnose, treat, and coordinate care for Veterans.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, delivering whole-health care and participating in education and care coordination to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The position requires MD/DO with a full/unrestricted US license, board eligibility in Family Practice or Internal Medicine preferred, and residency training validated by VA standards.

Qualifications

• Citizenship in the United States (non-citizens only if VA policy allows)
• Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine degree from an approved school
• Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the US
• Residency training in an approved core specialty leading to board eligibility
• If applicable, board eligibility or certification in Family Practice or Internal Medicine

Responsibilities

• Examine and diagnose patients and manage medical conditions
• Perform procedures as credentialed and document care
• Collaborate with other physicians and health professionals as part of the team
• Coordinate workload planning and staffing for the department
• Promote health education and patient care quality

Education

MD/DO from an approved medical school

Current full and unrestricted medical license (US/state/DC)

Board-eligible in Family Practice or Internal Medicine (preferred)
