Job summary

Veterans Health Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs in Rolla, MO, seeks a Hematology/Oncology physician to provide expert outpatient care and coordinate multidisciplinary treatment. The role supports the VA's mission to care for veterans and families with comprehensive whole health care.

The position requires MD, full/unrestricted US license, VA-approved residency, and board certification/eligibility, with duties including consultations, care coordination, and participation in Cancer

Qualifications

US citizenship requirement or eligible non-citizen per VA policy
Doctor of Medicine or equivalent from an approved school
Current full and unrestricted medical license
Residency training approved by VA for board eligibility
Board certification or eligibility as applicable

Responsibilities

Provide expert consultation and treatment in outpatient Hematology/Oncology.
Coordinate medical management with Primary Care and other services.
Attend staff meetings, Cancer Committee, and Tumor Board; participate in peer reviews and OPPE.
