Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship per VA requirements and licensure to practice medicine in the U.S.
• MD or DO degree from an approved school and residency in a core specialty
• Board certified or board eligible and eligible for VA faculty status if applicable
• Proficiency in spoken and written English; ability to obtain/maintain medical licensure

Responsabilités

• Provide psychiatric care to Veterans and manage mental health needs
• Coordinate care with internal/external providers and VA facilities
• Supervise/teach residents and participate in education programs
• Complete documentation, including progress notes and clinical reminders
• Participate in committee work and quality improvement initiatives
