Job summary

The Royal C. Johnson VA Health Care System in Sioux Falls, SD, is seeking a Board-eligible/board-certified Primary Care Physician to deliver comprehensive care to adult and geriatric Veterans in an ambulatory setting, with a Monday–Friday schedule.

You will lead an integrated PACT team, practice evidence-based medicine, and have access to on-site specialists, mental health, and ancillary services within the VA system, all while supporting a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Passionate about caring for Veterans and patient-centered care.
• Willing to work a Monday-Friday schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to adult and geriatric Veterans in an ambulatory setting, focusing on continuity and whole-person care.
• Lead an integrated PACT team (RN, LPN, clerk, and support staff) to manage chronic disease, preventive care, and acute concerns.
• Practice evidence-based medicine with access to on-site specialists, mental health, and ancillary services within the VA system.
