Job summary

The Catholic University of America seeks an Outreach, Marketing, and Recruitment Coordinator (OMRC) to expand Veterans Upward Bound outreach across the DC area. You will coordinate events, manage student workers, and oversee content for the program’s website and social media channels.

Reporting to the VUB Director, you will drive volunteer and outreach efforts and ensure up-to-date, accessible information for veterans seeking services. Bachelor's degree preferred; veteran status encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with veteran communities or similar under-resourced populations is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in managing website content and social media platforms.
• Veteran status is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify locations where DC veterans frequent and establish recruiting efforts.
• Increase awareness of the Veterans Upward Bound program through the DC area.
• Act as a point of contact and Day of Coordinator for VUB events.
• Create and manage content for the program's website, ensuring information is current and engaging for veterans.
• Manage and grow the program's social media presence with relevant content and event promotions.
• Coordinate all marketing efforts for VUB and manage advertising spends and targeted campaigns.
• Manage all VUB student workers.
• Other duties as assigned.
