Montana Legal Services Association is seeking a Veterans’ Legal Services Attorney to be based in our Helena office, with remote option considered. We offer a full-time, 35-hour work week and a pay range of $68,000 - $74,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Law degree required and willingness to handle a varied caseload.
• Ability to effectively communicate with and motivate others.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people.
• Willingness to learn and integrate new technologies and methodologies.

Responsabilités

• Conduct training and provide legal services to address veterans’ needs.
• Provide orientation and training activities for veterans’ service providers.
• Interview, advise, and represent eligible clients in civil matters.
• Develop specialized knowledge of health-harming legal needs of patients.
• Consult with veterans’ service providers on health-harming legal needs.
