Qualifications

• JD required.
• Bar admission in Montana or ability to obtain admission.
• Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.

• Willingness to handle a varied caseload.
• Willingness to learn and integrate new technologies/methodologies to perform responsibilities.
• Ability to travel within Montana and occasionally overnight.

Responsibilities

• Travel to partner Community Health Centers to provide legal services.
• Provide orientation and training to Health Center partners on referrals.
• Interview, advise, and represent eligible clients on civil matters.
• Develop knowledge of health-harming legal needs of patients.
• Provide services from brief counsel to extended representation for patients with opioid use disorder.
