Montana Legal Services Association (MLSA) seeks a Veterans’ Legal Services Attorney to support veterans across Montana from its Helena office, with a possible remote option. Formación
- Must hold a law degree and be eligible to practice in Montana.
- Willingness to assume a varied caseload.
- Ability to effectively communicate with diverse groups or individuals.
- Willingness to learn and integrate new technologies and methodologies.
Responsabilidades
- Conduct trainings and provide legal services addressing veterans' needs.
- Provide orientation and training for veterans' service providers on referrals.
- Interview, advise, and represent eligible clients in civil matters.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of health-harming legal needs of patients.
- Consult with veterans' service providers on health-harm legal needs.
