Job summary

Volunteers of America Massachusetts is seeking a dedicated Case Manager to support low‑income and homeless veterans and their families in the South Shore and Cape Cod areas. The role emphasizes housing stability, client‑centered planning, and coordination with VA Medical Centers and community partners.

This full‑time, hybrid position requires caseload management, strong assessment skills, and knowledge of veteran benefits.

Qualifications

• BA/AA degree preferred; minimum 2 years case management experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a caseload of Veteran clients.
• Develop housing plans and budgets with the household and connect Veterans to resources to obtain or maintain permanent housing.
• Assist with increasing veteran household income and promote independence.
• Conduct assessments and coordinate services/referrals with VA Medical Centers and other agencies.
• Assist with housing/subsidy applications and benefits (VA, Social Security, etc).
• Maintain regular communication with Veteran household and partners.
