Job summary

South Dakota Department of Veterans Affairs - Michael J Fitzmaurice Veterans Home in Hot Springs, SD, is seeking a full-time licensed nurse. You will perform nursing assessments, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, and ensure documentation and compliance with SD BON requirements.

You will oversee CNAs, MAs, and dining staff to support resident care while maintaining high-quality standards and a focus on veterans and their families in a respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to work in South Dakota.
• BLS certification preferred and can be obtained after employment.

Salary: $34.27 to $42.00 per hour, depending on experience - plus $1.50 per hour weekend pay and $5.00 per hour Night Shift differential.

Pay Grade: N1 - N2
