Job summary

A local community center is seeking a Veterans Events Manager responsible for planning and executing Veteran-focused events, promoting partnerships, and engaging with the community. The ideal candidate will have a passion for serving Veterans, strong organizational skills, and experience in event planning. This full-time role requires collaboration with various stakeholders and the ability to build relationships at local, state, and national levels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; higher education strongly preferred.
• 5 Years of event planning and military focused event experience will be considered if a higher educational degree is not on record.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) with experience using AI platforms.
• Customer service, hospitality, and community engagement efforts are all preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license. Must be free to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Champion Branson's identity as hospitable and patriotic through community engagement and networking.
• Serve as a spokesperson for Veteran-related events.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Veteran organizations and community partners.
• Lead the planning and execution of Rally Point Branson.
• Collaborate on Veteran-specific promotional campaigns with the Marketing Team.
• Track and report on key event metrics to inform planning.
