Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Troy, MI seeks a VA Disability Attorney to represent veterans in disability benefits claims and appeals. You will handle a 300-350 case load with a dedicated team, using advanced technology to review evidence and coordinate with Case Managers.

The ideal candidate has a J.D., Michigan bar admission, and strong writing and communication skills for compassionate, client-centered service.

Qualifications

• JD and bar admission are required or imminent.
• Experience with VA law or disability advocacy preferred.
• Strong writing, communication, and client service skills.
• Proficiency with digital tools and remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Represent veterans in disability benefits claims and appeals.
• Review medical and service records to develop legal strategies.
• Prepare for and attend virtual or in-person hearings.
• Draft briefs, nexus letters, legal arguments, and DBQs.
• Advise clients on service connection, rating, or effective date issues.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and case managers.
