Job summary

Pro Med Healthcare Services seeks a licensed medical professional to conduct one-time Disability Benefits Examinations (DBQs) for Veterans in Roseburg, Oregon. The role is in-person and involves reviewing medical history, confirming claimed conditions, and documenting findings in the VA system.

The examiner does not determine disability; the VA makes those decisions. You will work with on-site and remote teams, using EMR and standard office software to complete exams promptly and accurately.

Qualifications

• Must hold unrestricted state licensure to perform full scope of practice.
• Proficiency with computers, EMR, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Explain the exam process to the veteran and confirm claimed conditions.
• Complete required DBQ and MO using EMR during the exam and submit to VA.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests when appropriate (lab work, spirometry, ECG).
• Document findings electronically within 24-48 hours after the exam.
• Work with on-site and remote staff in a collaborative environment.
