Job summary

Pro Med HealthCare Services seeks a Nurse Practitioner to perform disability examinations (C&P) for Veterans. This in-person role does not involve treatment or prescribing meds. You will review medical history, explain the exam process, complete DBQ/MOs in the EMR, and submit findings to VA within 24–48 hours.

Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Cedar Rapids area. Active NP license in good standing and EMR proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted State NP license without limitations.
• Proficiency in navigating EMR platforms and web portals.
• Strong clinical analysis, documentation, and critical thinking.
• Excellent time management and ability to meet documentation deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review medical history and service records for VA DBQ readiness.
• Explain the exam process to the veteran and confirm claimed conditions.
• Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires and Medical Opinions via EMR.
• Submit completed exams to the VA within 24–48 hours.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests when required.
