Sentinel Health Services in Farmington, NM invites Board-certified Family and Adult Nurse Practitioners to join a dedicated team performing VA Compensation and Pension examinations. Exams occur at approved facilities with proper equipment; you may work 1–3 days per week, with the option to coordinate a flexible pattern if you run your own practice.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Family and Adult Nurse Practitioners (1099).
• One year NP experience or prior VA work is ideal.
• Design your own schedule (7 days a week, weekends encouraged); 3–7 days a month preferred.
• Preferred experience performing Veteran exams, workman’s compensation or disability exams; prior VA relationship is a plus.
• Must have 2 years of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform Compensation and Pension Examinations on Veterans.
• Complete a thorough review of digital medical records.
• Conduct a physical assessment based on specific disability claims.
• Submit information through an online portal for VA review as part of a claim.
• Exams occur at approved facilities with proper equipment and internet access.
• Must be able to perform exams 1–3 days per week.
• If you have your own practice, exams can be scheduled flexibly around your patient load.
