Job summary

Sentinel Health Services in the United States seeks a Nurse Practitioner to perform Compensation and Pension Examinations for veterans. The clinician must have their own office and appropriate malpractice coverage, with the ability to conduct exams at approved facilities.

Two years of clinical experience are required, with a flexible schedule that can accommodate 1–3 days per week, and prior VA experience is ideal for collaboration with the VA portal workflow.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner must have own office.
• Must have own Malpractice Insurance and Commercial Liability Insurance for your practice.
• Must have a Collaborative Agreement (if required by your state).
• Must have 2 years of Clinical Experience.
• Prior VA work or veteran exams experience is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Perform Compensation and Pension Examinations on Veterans.
• Complete a thorough review of digital medical records.
• Conduct a physical assessment based on specific disability claims.
• Submit information gathered through an online portal for VA review.
• Exams will take place at approved facilities with proper equipment and internet access provided.
• Exams can be conducted 1 to 3 days per week.
