Job summary

Sentinel Health Services is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to perform Compensation and Pension Examinations for veterans in a contract role. You will work from a commercial office, with proper malpractice coverage, and handle documentation for VA claims.

Ideal candidates will be board-certified Family and Adult Nurse Practitioners with at least 2 years of clinical experience, able to schedule 1–3 days per week at approved facilities, and maintain necessary insurance and credentialing.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Nurse Practitioners (Family and Adult).
• Own an office located at a commercial location.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience.
• Maintains malpractice insurance and office liability coverage.
• Compliant with state scope of practice and credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Perform Compensation and Pension Examinations on Veterans.
• Review digital medical records and conduct physical assessments.
• Submit documentation through an online VA portal for claims.
• Exams conducted at approved facilities with proper equipment.
• Availability of 1–3 exam days per week; flexible scheduling.
