Job summary

Sentinel Health Services in Greenwood, SC is seeking Board-certified Family and Adult Nurse Practitioners (1099) to perform Compensation and Pension Examinations for Veterans. You will review digital medical records, conduct physical assessments, and submit findings through the VA portal.

A flexible schedule is encouraged, with 1–3 exam days per week. Candidates should have at least 2 years of clinical experience; prior VA work is a plus.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Family and Adult Nurse Practitioners (1099).
• 2 years of clinical experience required; VA experience preferred.
• CAQH number and malpractice insurance as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform Compensation and Pension Examinations on Veterans
• Complete a thorough review of digital medical records
• Conduct a physical assessment based on specific disability claims
• Submit information gathered through an online portal for the VA to review as part of a compensation/pension claim
• All exams will take place at approved facilities with proper equipment and internet access provided
• Must be able to perform exams a minimum of 1 to 3 days per week
• If you have your own practice, you can conduct these exams with a flexible schedule that works with your current patient scheduling
