Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Strong computer skills; EMR experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in clinical or call center environment.
• Must be VA credentialed and in good standing.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administrative support related to patient care.
• Inputs all patients’ information into VISTA/CPRS.
• Verifies clinical reminders due at time of visit are completed before checkout.
• Check patients in and out of the clinic.
• Schedule clinic appointments.
• Answers phones and relays messages promptly.
• Fulfill compliance requirements of the OIG, JC, EOC and related items.
• Provide excellent customer service to veterans and colleagues.
• Participate in clinic outreach events to support enrollment initiatives.
• Support patient enrollment and retention in appointments and follow-ups.
• Embrace and support new clinical or operational initiatives.
