Job summary

The Arizona Department of Veterans' Services (ADVS) seeks a compassionate Nursing Supervisor (RN) for the Day shift at the Arizona State Veterans' Home - Tucson, 555 East Ajo Way, Tucson, AZ 85713. You will coordinate wound assessments, plan of care, goals, implementation, evaluation and outcomes for residents.

Qualifications

• Current or temporary license to practice as an RN in Arizona.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• TB test status current or as required by the facility.
• CPR certification and ability to obtain a fingerprint clearance card.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and complete performance appraisals.
• Provide direct patient care and coordinate wound care plans.
• Oversee admissions/discharges and ensure quality of care.
• Assist with training, AMS processes and policy development.
