Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent completed.
• Phlebotomy is mandatory for this role.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or relevant certification preferred.
• Previous healthcare setting experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients to gather medical histories and record data.
• Prepare charts and assist with pre-appointment IMO research.
• Manage medical records and billing reports with privacy in mind.
• Prepare exam rooms and sanitize instruments for patient visits.
• Escort claimants to rooms and assist during appointments.
• Process diagnostics and ensure timely test submissions.
• Record vital signs using clinical equipment.
• Coordinate with the Supervisor to maintain clinic schedules.
• Assist with blood draws, EKGs, PFTs, and ABI as directed.
• Support prescreening, check-in/check-out, and PracticeSuite usage.
• Follow Infection Control and housekeeping protocols.
• Operate office devices and handle communication channels.
• Assist inventory management and supply ordering.
