Job summary

Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted State Nurse Practitioner (NP) license without limitations.
- Proficiency in navigating EMR platforms, web portals, and standard computer applications.
- Strong clinical analysis, documentation, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven track record of meeting documentation deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Read orders and review medical history, including service records and prior exams.
- Explain the exam process to the veteran and confirm claimed conditions.
- Complete DBQs and Medical Opinions through the EMR during the exam and provide documentation to VA.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests when needed (labs, spirometry, ECGs) and document findings.
- Submit completed exams within 24–48 hours after the exam.
